Stuart is a Chartered Surveyor and a local resident who has spent most of this life in the Town. He owns businesses in Eastleigh and Locks Heath and has two adult children.
Stuart’s involvement with BWTFC started last season when, with son Richard, he brought the Reserves Team back into existence. In the close season he took over the role of Club Chairman with the declared aim of bringing the whole set-up into the 21st Century.
The first few months of this season have seen major changes and the “old regime” has made way for the new. Although the revolution has started it by no means has finished. The game plan for the Club is to regain our former Wessex League placement, obtain Grant finance for facilities renewal and to completely replace all kit, training equipment, land drainage and floodlights etc.....
Stuart will need to be patient as major changes take a lot of planning. However, with such major change being planned he is in urgent need of new Committee members, team and Club sponsors, assistant managers, Club linesmen and above all a new Club Secretary and Treasurer. Anyone who can help should call Stuart on 07836-363040.
The Club is at rock bottom financially and therefore Stuart is looking to local Businesses to make themselves known and to volunteer donations. The Town Football Team has a long history and traditionally has been one of the major Clubs in south Hampshire outside of the cities. Our vision and abilities need fuel and to keep our ambition bubbling we need the stimulus of finance.
We are encouraging the Junior Clubs – especially BW Dynamos and Waltham Wolves – to cooperate and bring forward Youth Players to augment our Reserves team but we are looking to establish further teams in any event.
We have established to good relationship with the Parish Council and are looking to Partner with businesses and Professionals to plan a structured future for all football BUT WE NEED PLAYERS, FINANCE AND HELP, NOW. |
